Ingredients
- 1 (1-pound) bag yellow chocolate candy melts
- 1⁄4 cup orange chocolate candy melts
- 1⁄4 cup brown chocolate candy melts
- 6 Oreos
How to Make It
- Melt yellow, orange, and brown chocolate melts in separate bowls according to the package instructions or in the microwave at 30-second increments.
- Dip your Oreo cookies in yellow chocolate with a candy melt dipping scoop or fork and cover completely. Place cookies on a piece of parchment paper or Silpat and place in refrigerator until chocolate hardens, approximately 10 minutes.
- Using the bottom end of your cake-decorating paintbrush and brown chocolate, dot two eyes on the center of the Baby Chick’s face.
- Using a small cake-decorating paintbrush and orange chocolate, paint on a triangular beak directly below the eyes. Use the yellow chocolate to add a small tuft of hair above the eyes.
- Repeat with remaining Oreos, then place Baby Chicks back in the refrigerator until chocolate has hardened, approximately 5 minutes.
