Bruschetta with added tuna recipe

Bruschetta is such a classic appetizer. If you want to impress your friends or family, add a little tuna. Not only it gives it a unique and interesting taste, but it is an easy way to make your kids try fish.

Ingredients

  • 1 regular size baguette (wheat or white, your choice), sliced 1 inch thick
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1½ cup chopped fresh tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pinch of cumin
  • 1 or 2 cans of tune in oil, well drained
  • 1 cup crumbled goat cheese
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 °F.
  2. In a small skillet, heat some oil. Cook the grail, herbs, and tomatoes for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Brush olive oil on each slice of bread.
  4. Add a generous portion of the tomato mixture, then add the tuna and the goat cheese.
  5. Place on a greased baking sheet. Then put it in the oven for 10 minutes or so.
  6. Serve as appetizers or as a side bread with your favorite pasta dish.
