Carrot apple cake recipe

This cake is very yummy and contains a lot of vitamins.

Ingredients

For the Dough
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 medium carrots (100 g)
  • 8 oz Whole grain flour
  • 2 tbsp Liquid honey
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Olive/coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
For the Filling
  • 2 medium apples
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 380°F.
  2. Prepare the dough. You can make it two ways: using a blender or manually.
  3. Way 1: Clean carrots and remove the peel; place them in a blender cup. Add the rest of ingredients for the dough in a blender and mix well.
  4. Way 2: Whisk eggs, honey, and sugar. Then add grated carrot and the rest of ingredients. Mix well using a tablespoon.
  5. Prepare Filling
  6. Take apples. Clean them; remove peel and stones. Cut apples into small pieces.
  7. Prepare the tray apply oil on the surface or place a layer of wax paper at the bottom.
  8. Pour out half the dough; spread it on the tray using a tablespoon.
  9. Add filling take your apple slices, and place it on the first layer of the dough.
  10. Pour out the rest of the dough on the top; make sure you cover the apples.
  11. Place the tray in the oven for 40 minutes.
  12. To check if the dough is ready, just poke it with a fork the pieces of the dough should not stick to a fork when you remove it. Extend the time by 5–10 minutes, if necessary.
  13. Remove the cake and cool it down before serving. You can just slice it into pieces or decorate with a topping of your choice. Enjoy!
