Cheesy beer salsa dip recipe

Serve this hot dip with dippers made of something unexpected corn bread. The crunchy sticks are a nice contrast to the spicy dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) jar salsa
  • 2/3 cup beer or milk
  • 4 cups shredded American cheese (1 pound)
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese (8 ounce)
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, cut up
  • Corn Bread Dippers or tortillas chips
How to Make It
  1. In a 3½ or 4 quart slow cooker, combine salsa and beer, add American cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and cream cheese.
  2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours or on high-heat setting for 1½ to 2 hours. Serve immediately or keep covered on low-heat setting for up to 2 hours. Stir just before serving. Serve with Corn Bread Dippers or tortilla chips.
