Citrus marinated tilapia recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 lime juice
  • Sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
  • 4 pieces tilapia
  • 4 FoodSaver bags that have been portioned off for the size of the tilapia plus a little extra space
  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin wheels
  • 1 lime, sliced into thin wheels
  • 3 cups warm water
How to Make It
  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Sprinkle each piece of tilapia with a little salt and pepper. Place each one in a bag. Place 1 tablespoon of the citrus liquid we made into each bag.
  3. Top each piece of tilapia with a slice of lemon and lime. Seal each bag not too tight or liquid will pour out.
  4. Add 3 cups warm water to your pot. Place trivet at the bottom. Then add the 4 bags of sealed tilapia into the water. Lock lid and close vent. Put on High Manual Pressure for 5 minutes. Allow to NPR for 5 minutes and then QPR the remaining pressure. Remove bags and allow to cool for a couple of minutes before cutting open and serving.
