Garlic shrimp recipe

Serve at your next tapas party with some toasted bread. Serve over rice for a family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves of sliced garlic
  • ¼ cup Madeira
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
How to Make It
  1. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic for 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the Madeira and red pepper flakes and stir for 2 minutes. The Madeira should be bubbling.
  5. Serve with toasted bread.
