Granola recipe

Great with milk or with yogurt.

  • Yield: 6 Servings
  • Preparation Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 cups oats
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup cranberries
How to Make It
  1. Coat the slow cooker with a non-stick spray.
  2. Combine the oats, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds and sugar in the slow cooker.
  3. Stir in the coconut oil, honey, and almond extract.
  4. Be sure to keep the lid open just a tad for a crunchier taste.
  5. Cook for 2 ½ hours on low while stirring a few times.
  6. Add the raisins and cranberries and stir. Place the granola in a cool place.
