Grilled pak choi with a ginger glaze and peanuts recipe

Ingredients

For the Pakchoi
  • 4 small heads pak choi
  • 4 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1½ tsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp black pepper
Extras
  • 2 tbsp peanuts
How to Make It
  1. Halve the pak choi lengthways.
  2. For the ginger glaze, mix together all the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture over the pak choi and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Grill the pak choi halves on their cut side over direct heat for 4 minutes. Then turn them over and finish cooking them over indirect heat with the lid closed for 8 minutes.
  4. Coarsely chop the peanuts and sprinkle them over the pak choi halves.
