  • Yield: 1 ½ cups

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Ball RealFruit Classic Pectin
  • 1 navel orange zest
  • 1 navel segments orange, roughly chopped
How to Make It
  1. In a small saucepan set over medium heat, combine the orange juice with ½ cup water. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together the sugar and pectin in a separate bowl. Prepare a large bowl filled with ice water. Once the orange juice mixture is simmering, slowly whisk in the sugar and pectin, stirring until it’s well incorporated so that no lumps form. Increase the heat to high and boil the mixture hard for 2 to 3 minutes, until it begins to noticeably thicken.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and set it in the ice water bath to cool. Add the orange zest and orange segments. Once the marmalade is no longer hot, transfer it to a bowl or jars and put it in the refrigerator to finish setting. Once set, the marmalade can be used immediately, or stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
