Sesame-ginger turkey wraps recipe

If you’re not feeding a crowd, redrigetate or freeze the leftover turkey to reheat for another meal.

Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 turkey thighs, skinned (3½ to 4 pounds total)
  • 1 cup bottled sesame-ginger stir-fry sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 (16-ounce) package shredded broccoli (broccoli slaw mix)
  • 12 (8-inch) flour tortillas, warmed
  • ¾ cup sliced green onions
How to Make It
  1. Lightly coat a 3½ or 4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place turkey thighs in prepared cooker. In a small bowl, stir together stir-fry sauce and the water. Pour over turkey in cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 7 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 3½ hours.
  3. Remove turkey form cooker; cool slightly. Remove turkey from bone; discard bones. Using two forks, shred turkey into bite-size pieces. Return to mixture in cooker. Place broccoli slaw mix in sauce mixture in cooker. Stir to coat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, remove turkey and broccoli from cooker.
  4. To assemble, place some of the turkey mixture on each warmed tortilla. Top turkey mixture with geen onions. If desired, spoon some of the sauce from cooker on top of green onions. Roll up and serve immediately.
