Slow cooker oats recipe

Wake up to some delicious oatmeal. To prevent this from getting mushy, be sure to use only steel cut oats.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 3 1/3 cup milk
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to Make It
  1. Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and combine well.
  2. Cook on low for 6 hours.
