Peanut apple pie recipe

Ingredients

  • 9” in diameter pie crust (pastry shell)
  • 4 apples, peeled and grated
  • 7 tbsp peanut butter
  • half cup peanuts
  • half cup of wheat flour
  • half cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 oz unsalted butter
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 200˚-220˚ Fahrenheit and roast the peanuts and then coat the pie pan with the unsalted butter and leave it in the oven to melt the butter.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, orange zest, baking powder and vanilla and mix well. Stir in the peanuts and peanut butter and mix well until the mixture has a smooth consistency.
  3. Place the apples into the pastry shell and spoon the peanuts filling on top and mix well.
  4. Place the peanut apple pie into the oven and bake for 50 min.
