Spinach with garbanzo beans espinacas con garbanzos recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 diced small onion
  • 1½ cup garbanzo beans
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 bag fresh spinach
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the garbanzo beans and tomato sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the spinach, rosemary, paprika, salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 2 minutes, until the spinach is wilted. 6. Serve with bread.
