Wild berry smoothie recipe

It’s so easy to make, and your kids will never even realize they are drinking spinach. It’s also packed with vitamins and antioxidants and is a natural energy booster. It’s a great way to sneak in those fruits and veggies! Making this with frozen strawberries and blueberries is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any berry combination.

  • Yield: 2 Servings
  • Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
  • Total Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup 100% pure unsweetened apple juice
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or use one 5-ounce prepackaged cup)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 small bananas
  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
How to Make It
  1. Place the apple juice and vanilla yogurt in a blender. Add the spinach and bananas and blend until smooth. Add the frozen berries and pineapple and blend everything together.
  2. Add water as needed, up to ½ cup, to reach the desired consistency. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
