Truly rich and decadent. But utterly satisfying. This is the dessert to make if you want to impress.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup raspberries
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Place 8 ramekins on a baking sheet.
  3. Combine the heavy cream, vanilla and nutmeg in a saucepan and keep stirring until the cream reaches a boiling point.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and stir until the chocolate melts and remove from heat.
  5. Whisk together the sugar and egg yolks and pour into the cream mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the ramekins.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Refrigerate the brulees for 1 hour.
  9. Sprinkle each brulee with the additional sugar and place under the broiler for 2 minutes.
  10. Top with raspberries.
