Penne with mussels and cream sauce recipe



  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 80 g pine nuts
  • 0.5 cup fresh white bread crumbs
  • 400 g Penne
  • 200 g boiled mussels
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 50 g peeled walnuts
  • a handful of parsley leaves
How to Make It
  1. All nuts fry in dry hot pan, stirring, 5 min. to cool. Garlic clean. Grind until smooth the walnuts, garlic and bread crumbs. Add the lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add in sauce and mussels and stir again.
  3. Boil Penne according to instructions on the package. Discard in a colander, leaving the pan with a little water. Return pasta to pot, add sauce. Stir and arrange on plates.
