Walnut cake recipe

This cake is sugar-free and very tasty.

Ingredients

For the Dough
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups (240 g) Walnut halves
  • 4 oz Whole grain flour
  • 3 tbsp Liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp Olive/coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
For the Topping
  • 1 oz (¼ cups) Walnut halves
  • 1 tbsp Liquid honey
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 380°F.
  2. Prepare the dough. You can make it two ways: using a blender or manually.
  3. Way 1. Rinse walnuts, and place them in a blender cup. Add the rest of ingredients for the dough in a blender and mix well.
  4. Way 2. Whisk eggs and honey in a bowl. Add crushed walnuts and the rest of ingredients. Mix well using a tablespoon.
  5. Prepare the tray apply oil on the tray surface or place a layer of wax paper at the bottom.
  6. Pour out the dough; spread it using a tablespoon.
  7. Place the tray in the oven for 40 minutes.
  8. To check if the dough is ready, just poke it with a fork—the pieces of the dough should not stick to the fork when you remove it. Extend the time by 5–10 minutes, if necessary.
  9. Remove the cake, and cool it down before serving. Just add walnut halves and honey as the topping.
