Avocado and crab tapas recipe


This is a great tapas choice. Serve with crackers. If you are in the mood for a salad, simply chopped up the avocado and stir into the crab meat. Yummy.

  • Yield: 4 Servings


  • 1 (12-oz) canned crab meat
  • 1½ tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chopped sweet onion
  • ¼ cup diced tomato
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 avocados
How to Make It
  1. Drain and flake the crab meat.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the avocado.
  3. Slice the avocados in half to remove the pits. 4. Spoon the crab salad into the avocado halves.
