Sticky molasses BBQ ribs recipe

Ingredients

  • Oil mister or cooking spray
  • 3 to 4 pounds ribs, cut into individual ribs
Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
How to Make It
  1. Lightly spray a 6-quart slow cooker with oil and add the ribs.
  2. Make the Barbecue Sauce
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, molasses, vinegar, hot sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour half of the sauce over the ribs and refrigerate the remaining sauce while the ribs cook.
  4. Cover the ribs and cook on low for 8 hours. Pour the remaining sauce over the ribs and remove from the slow cooker. Serve immediately.
