Turmeric infusion recipe


This anti-inflammatory infusion has a kick that will also help rev up your metabolism. This drink is invigorating and would be nice when you need some energy but you don’t want caffeine.

  • Yield: 1 Servings


  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon peeled turmeric or ½ teaspoon ground
How to Make It
  1. Boil the water in a small saucepan and add the remaining ingredients.
  2. If using fresh turmeric, let steep for several minutes and remove before drinking.
  3. If using ground turmeric, stir well to mix evenly.
