Lemon swirl ice cream recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 litres good-quality vanilla ice cream, softened but not melted
  • 150 ml Basic Lemon Cordial
How to Make It
  1. Transfer the vanilla ice cream to a large bowl and stir. Using the same container that the ice cream came in, spoon one-third of the softened ice cream back into the container and smooth the surface.
  2. Drizzle 50 ml of the lemon cordial on top of the ice cream. Continue to layer until you have reached the top and there is no more cordial or ice cream left.
  3. Return to the freezer and freeze overnight for the best results, or for at least 6 hours.
