Ingredients

  • 5 cups dry pinto beans
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 medium yellow onion, minced
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 9 cups water
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
How to Make It
  1. Combine beans, cumin, onion, garlic, and water in the slow cooker. Cook on Low for 8 hours.
  2. Add salt and lemon juice. Stir. Cook on Low for another 2 hours.
