Butter-Roasted Chicken

Ingredients

  • 10 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 c. water
  • ½ c. lemon juice
  • 2 T. butter, sliced
  • 2 T. paprika
  • 2 t. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper
  • 1 t. dried rosemary
  • 1 t. chicken bouillon granules
  • ¼ t. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ t. nutmeg
How to Make It
  1. Arrange chicken in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over mediumhigh heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Spoon mixture over chicken. Cover with aluminum foil; bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Uncover; baste chicken with pan drippings.
  4. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees. Bake, uncovered, an additional 20 minutes, or until chicken is crisp and golden.
