Country ham recipe


Perfect for Christmas dinner and sandwiches. Make sure the entire ham is covered in liquid to prevent drying out.

  • 6 lb bone-in precooked spiral country ham
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 4 cups ginger ale
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
How to Make It
  1. Place the ham in the slow cooker and pour maple syrup between the slices.
  2. Combine the ginger ale, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl and pour over the ham.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours.
