Brazilian rice recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces cauliflower florets, in bite-size pieces
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces black beans, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • 6 ounces brown rice, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon anise
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 6 ounces avocado, sliced
How to Make It
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease a 4 x 8 baking pan with toasted sesame oil.
  3. Steam cauliflower for about 5 minutes.
  4. Combine all ingredients except for the avocado. Mix well.
  5. Transfer to baking pan and bake for 15 minutes. Garnish with avocado slices.
