  • 1 cup coffee
  • 2 cups of baby kale
  • 2 tbsp. cacao nibs
  • ¾ cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder
  • 1 banana
  • 1 large date
How to Make It
  1. ‘Life is short, eat dessert first!’ For our intrepid Capt. Dr Caela, rounds at the hospital never stop, so it’s hard to know when dessert ends and breakfast begins. This shake gives her all the energy and nutrients she needs to keep going shift after shift, so she can drink to your health as well as her own. On the chance you miss your opportunity for your daily intake of greens in each meal, there’s always dessert.
  2. Brew up one cup of coffee. Combine coffee and all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
