Sushi like tuna sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 3 small cans white tuna
  • 12 slices fresh wheat or white bread
  • 1 diced fresh avocado
  • 1 package room temperature plain cream cheese
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
How to Make It
  1. The key here is to choose very fresh bread. Cut the crust and use a rolling pin to thin out the bread slices.
  2. Spread the cream cheese evenly on all the slices.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, lime juice, and hot sauce.
  4. Spread some of the tuna mixture on top of the cream cheese and also add a few diced avocados.
  5. Proceed to roll the sushi as you would with regular sushi.
  6. Secure the bread tightly and cut 1-inch thick sushi rolls, and serve right away or refrigerate until ready to serve.
