Barley Meat balls with pasta in coconut white sauce recipe


Raw version with beet root almond balls and zucchini pasta in exotic white cool sauce.


For the "Meatballs"
  • 1 cup soaked hulled barley (soaked in water for 2 days)
  • 1 small chopped tomato
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onion
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1/3 cup of chopped beet-root
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tsp shredded ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp psyllium hulls
  • 2 tbsp chopped celery
  • ¼ cup shredded cucumber
For Zucchini Pasta
  • 1-2 zucchini shredded with a spiral slicer or a mandoline. Pasta preparatio
How to Make It
    For the “Meatballs”
  1. Put all the ingredients in the food processor Shape the mixture into small balls with your hands.
  2. For the Zucchini Pasta
  3. Spread over a towel and sprinkle with salt to eliminate their liquids.
  4. Marinate with a little olive oil, herbs and tamari.
