Soy glazed corn on the cob recipe

No need for calorie packed butter when you can glaze your corn with soy, oyster and hoisin sauces.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 6 ears corn (husks removed)
How to Make It
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce along with the vinegar, garlic powder, sriracha sauce and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat, and lightly oil the grill grate.
  3. Transfer the corn to the hot grill and brush with the sauce mixture. Cook for around 5 minutes while turning the corn and brushing with the sauce. Cook for a further 4-5 minutes, once again brushing with sauce. Serve.
